Meet the Founder

J.D. Durant is a Bronx-born author, musician, and lifelong storyteller who has lived in Japan for more than three decades. As the founder of JD Legacy Library, he writes across genres—from science fiction and children’s stories to memoir and personal growth. His purpose is simple: to tell honest stories, inspire imagination, and create a legacy that lasts.
